Timber that's treated with a preservative chemical usually has it used through vacuum and/or pressure treatment. The chemical preservatives that are used to pressure-treat timber are solvent borne and water-borne. This provides long-term resistance against rot, insects as well as other wood damaging organisms, outliving many normally durable timbers in uncovered conditions. If not treated, wood that's exposed to water or soil for some time will become weak by various kinds of bacteria, fungi or insects. The contemporary timber fences and decks have transported on the civilisation well. The new fences are made to give comfort and privacy. They are big, attractive, and they fit everything.
